Traverser 2 is the second generation of our standard Traverser product. The most significant changes from the previous design are:

• All models now offer IP65 protection as standard
• Single box design, no separate control box.
• PCB based design for greater reliability

Traversers offer a means of moving a printhead across a product or products in order to print perpendicular to line movement.  They can also be configured to print in lane changer mode to allow a single printhead to print in several 'lanes' in parallel with the movement of product.

The traverser is programable by the user with PC based setup software. This allows configuration, print positions, speed and acceleration to be set.
The traverser can store 16 programs for different product types.  These can then be selected either using outputs from a host machine, from PC setup software or using an external selector switch available seperately
